Disney World Closure and Refurb Schedule for July 2022

If you will be visiting Walt Disney World this month, you’ll want to know what will be closed during your stay. Take a look at our round-up of all closures and refurbishments for the month of July.

At Magic Kingdom, the Walt Disney World Railroad is still closed. Construction and vehicle testing are ongoing for TRON Lightcycle Run and we still don’t have a reopening date for the railroad. Also at Magic Kingdom, The Chapeau will remain closed for the rest of 2022.

At Animal Kingdom, A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King will have its final performance on July 4. The show will be unavailable from July 5 to 15. On July 16, Festival of the Lion King will officially return to the park.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park remains closed for refurbishment. We don’t have a set reopening date yet.
