With Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary fast approaching, you may have noticed that the parks are in a flurry of activity right now. New merchandise, entertainment, foods, and decorations will make the 18-month celebration special. But we don’t have to wait until October 1st for the decorations to appear! Banners are already popping up all over the place, and Hollywood Studios is the latest park to see the signature 50th-anniversary banner adorn its posts.

The banners are shimmering with a big “50” right in the center, so no one needs to wonder why they’re there! They also have the words “Walt Disney World” above and “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” below. Of course, we can be sure that with an entire month left before the festivities begin, there are plenty more surprises coming!

We have also previously seen a sign appear at the Magic Kingdom Train Station, banners in Epcot and the Magic Kingdom, as well as the now well-known castle decor on Cinderella Castle. We can only wait with anticipation to see the completed looks on October 1st!

Less notable may be the touch-ups that some rides and attractions have undergone to be anniversary-ready. The Mad Tea Party and Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom are just two of the places you’ll want to get a better look at now that they’ve been updated. You can also already be keeping an eye out for special merchandise that has already been released at the parks. Just because we have a few more weeks to wait, doesn’t mean there aren’t already plenty of celebratory features to enjoy!
