Animation Experience Villains

This summer saw the reopening of Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom with a few new enhancements that have had guests lining up to encounter the area. One of the standout experiences has certainly become The Animation Experience, which allows partakers to learn how to draw some of their favorite Disney characters (specifically from the Lion King), such as Zazu, Timon, and Pumbaa. The lessons are a step-by-step process that should leave everyone looking like a pro.

If you’ve already visited the Experience and found that Scar and Ed were your favorite drawing lessons, buckle up! Disney animal villains are next on the docket. As of October 18th, six of Disney and Pixar’s finest evil antagonists will be coming alive on visitors’ drawing pads. Lessons will include Bruce from Finding Nemo, Hopper from A Bug’s Life, ShereKhan from The Jungle Book, and Tic Toc from Peter Pan, as well as the aforementioned Scar and Ed from Lion King. You’re sure to pick up some scary drawing skills just in time for Halloween!

The Animation Experience is best enjoyed by older guests (although young ones may still put pencil to paper and have fun!) and fastpasses are currently available for reservation. If you were hoping to draw a hero and haven’t made it yet, make sure to head over before this villainous celebration begins. But if you’re a fan of all things evil, October looks like your time to shine! Let’s get drawing!
