Disney Releases New “Baby Yoda” Shoes and Life-Sized Figurine. Everyday it seems more and more The Child, aka “Baby Yoda”, merchandise becomes available and now you can get an all new pair of The Mandalorian inspired shoes as well as a life-sized replica figurine of the internets favorite Star Wars character, “Baby Yoda“.
Disney and Zazzle have partnered to bring a new pattern and shoe to Star Wars fans. The new pattern features “The Child” on a grey backdrop and come in both Men’s and Women’s sizes. You can order your own pair by CLICKING HERE for just $89.95 USD. These shoes look so comfortable we would love to wear a pair while walking around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disney Parks!
“Each pair of shoes is handmade in Kenya using local materials as part of an organization called UBUNTU that’s designed to promote health and education programs in Africa. The result is Baby Yoda shoes that are based on the Spanish espadrille style, but with an African flair – hence the name “Afridrille”, shares ComicBook.com.
Lucasfilm and Sideshow have come together to bring a hyperrealistic “life-sized” figuring of The Child, right down to the fuzzy little hairs on Baby Yoda’s head.
Sideshow shares, “The Child Life-Size Figure measures 16.5” tall, standing on a simple ship deck base that lets this adorable alien steal all of the focus- along with the Mandalorian’s ship parts. Inspired by its unique onscreen appearance, this mixed media statue features a tan fabric coat swaddling The Child as it gazes up with charming wide eyes, hiding the silver shift knob from the Razor Crest™ in its right hand.”
You can jump on the pre-order opportunity and get your very own The Child Figurine for $350 USD, expected to be available sometime between August 2020-October 2020, by CLICKING HERE.
