The Disney CEO announced the Disney Premier Passport will likely not be offered again
It looks like fans wishing to hop between Disneyland and Walt Disney World will have to purchase separate tickets for both coasts, as the Disney Premier Passport is unlikely to return.
The latest update on the fate of the Disney Premier Passport came out of the Disney shareholder meeting today, with CEO Bob Iger noting a lack of interest in the passport makes it difficult to justify offering it again.
Prior to the discontinuation of the sale of annual passports during the COVID-19 shutdown, the Disney Premier Passport commanded a price of $2,000 per pass, which is a steep increase from the $700 the pass cost when it was first offered in 2010. The pass afforded access to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts. The announcement by Iger appears to be yet another pivot away from the plans of Bob Chapek, who previously announced in 2022 that the Disney Premier Passport could potentially return in the future.
