Yzma Set to Pull the Lever on Mischief at the 2026 Oogie Boogie Bash
Pull the lever, Kronk! The ultimate potion-brewing, imperial-throne-seeking diva is officially making her way to Disney California Adventure. Yzma, the fan-favorite villain from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Emperor’s New Groove, is making her grand debut at this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, joining a spine-chilling squad of iconic characters on select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026.
While daytime visitors love spotting heroes like Baymax and Iron Man, the park undergoes a delightfully wicked transformation after dark, bringing out some of the rarest and most sinister Disney villains for the separately ticketed, after-hours event.

Yzma Leads a Sinister Treat Trail Lineup
The star attraction of this year’s party is undoubtedly Yzma, who will be taking up residence along the Treat Trail in Grizzly Peak. Guests can expect the brilliant (and eccentric) villain to be stirring up plenty of mischievous mayhem with her clever potion-making capabilities, cackling at her own genius, and frantically searching for every lever she can find to execute her latest scheme.
Alongside Yzma’s highly anticipated debut, a lineup of returning powerhouses and rare villainous encounters will host immersive Treat Trails across the park:

Iconic spirits from the classic attraction will materialize directly on the streets of California Adventure, bringing swirling ballroom dancers, eerie gravediggers, and the Hitchhiking Ghosts out to socialize for a swinging wake.
