As a Port Cruise Representative, you’ll be the welcoming face of Disney Cruise Line, working directly at Port Canaveral. Your primary role will be to provide outstanding guest service during both embarkation and debarkation, ensuring a seamless and joyful start (and end) to our guests’ magical journeys.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Greeting Guests with Enthusiasm: Be the first point of contact, offering a warm welcome and setting the tone for their cruise experience.
  • Efficient Check-In and Document Processing: Accurately collect and process guest cruise documents, verify citizenship, and efficiently check guests into their staterooms using tablets and handheld devices.
  • Providing Exceptional Guest Service: Proactively engage with guests, answer questions, provide directions, and assist with any inquiries or challenges that may arise.
  • Crowd Control and Direction: Maintain strong observation skills and assist with crowd control during peak operational hours in various areas of the terminal, both indoors and outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Maintaining Disney’s Five Keys: Uphold the core principles of Safety, Courtesy, Inclusion, Show, and Efficiency in every interaction.

What You’ll Need to Bring:

  • A Passion for Disney: Knowledge of Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World products is essential.
  • Computer Savvy: Proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications and strong technical skills.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse range of guests and cast members.
  • Physical Stamina: This is a physical role that requires prolonged standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs, push, pull, bend, twist, and kneel. You may also be required to use cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Flexibility and Availability: As a seasonal role, you must have six (6) full days of availability every month for any shift, including early mornings, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications that will set you apart:

  • Bilingual proficiency.
  • Previous Cruise Line experience.
  • Prior Hotel Guest Service experience.

Working Hours and Compensation:

The operating hours for this position are Sunday through Saturday, from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The starting pay rate for this magical opportunity is $18.90 per hour.
