Director James Gunn Shoots Down Rumors and Shares Which “Guardians of the Galaxy” Project is Actually in Production. This has been a crazy busy week for Marvel Studios, with the world premiere of Eternals, huge theatrical release schedule delays, and mix-ups and misinformation shared on social media, Director James Gunn took to Twitter to help clear up and confusion regarding the Guardians of the Galaxy projects.
After actor Chris Pratt shared a “first day” video of him on set at Marvel Studios, many outlets were led to believe that filming had begun for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Though the director didn’t know about the video at the time, Gunn had already shared that filming was set to begin soon for GotG Vol. 3, but currently, the cast is filming the videos and voiceover work for the upcoming EPCOT attraction “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind” at Walt Disney World Resort.

Check out the synopsis for the upcoming new attraction at EPCOT: “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a family-friendly adventure, featuring a totally new type of roller coaster experience we’re developing just for this attraction – it’s a storycoaster that rotates 360 degrees so you’re always focused on all the action as you help the Guardians save the galaxy. Not only that, but Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will also feature the first reverse launch on a coaster in Disney history and is one of the longest enclosed coasters in the world. It’s a massive experience that will match the scale and adventure of the Guardians of the Galaxy films.“
