If I had a day off I would spend my day off at Walt Disney World. That is exactly what Daytona 500 NASCAR star Austin Dillon did on Tuesday. The NASCAR star spent the day interacting with characters, posing for pictures and rode several signature attractions. This was Dillon’s first visit to Walt Disney World Resort since he was a child. The NASCAR star was accompanied by his mother, wife and friends.
Dillon is a well-known NASCAR star among fans. Just ask 12-year-old Jordan Wade of Bradenton, FL. Jordan Wade is the young racing fan who had given Daytona 500 NASCAR star Austin Dillon a lucky penny before he won the Daytona 500 last year. Dillon wanted to surprise this young fan at Walt Disney World by presenting him with a Daytona 500 champions ring.
If you missed Austin Dillon at the parks on Tuesday you can still catch him on the track Thursday. The Daytona 500 NASCAR star Austin Dillon will be racing for the 150-mile qualifying races at Daytona International Speedway. Keep your eyes peeled for his famous No. 3 Dow Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing during the Daytona 500 on Sunday.
