There is a particular event at Walt Disney World that holds a special place in my heart. It tends to slip under the radar, even for many avowed Disney-lovers. It’s the Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic and if you’ve never been, get ready to book some tickets. They’ve announced the event dates for 2021 to be October 29th and 30th.
Fans of Epcot’s various festivals need to experience the Food and Wine Classic at least once. It’s a more elegant and adult version, featuring gourmet plates from some of Disney’s best chefs. Over 40 tasting stations and 30 wineries are present to give unlimited samples as part of a package available for purchase. Try food from restaurants such as Il Mulino and Todd English’s bluezoo. The event also has live entertainment, wine and beer seminars, beer tastings, and more. You’ll have the opportunity to ask a professional chef or sommelier all the questions you have never thought to ask before.
Causeway tickets are the food all-access pass while A La Carte ticket booklets contain 25 tickets (items cost 2 to 6 tickets apiece). One-night packages are also available that include two tickets to the event for those who want to make a weekend of it!
The event occurs at Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin Resort this October 29 and 30. It’s a great time for foodies to try some high-quality dishes, but it’s best for adults only.
