Park hopping has returned to Walt Disney World! Guests visiting Disney World haven’t been able to park hop since the parks closed early last year. You were only allowed to visit one park per day and needed a park pass reservation along with your park ticket. Now, guests can visit multiple parks on the same day again!

There are some modifications to park hopping though. Guests are not allowed to visit another park until 2 pm daily. That is when the park hopper hours begin at each park. This could change at any time. You can see the park hopper hours here. Guests also need to make a park pass reservation for their first park AND visit that park before heading to their second park of the day. A park pass reservation is not required after the first park right now, but that could change later.

“These modifications are designed to help us continue managing attendance in a way that fosters physical distancing. Additionally, other enhanced health and safety measures remain in effect, including face coverings required for all guests ages two and up,” Disney said.

Park-to-park transportation has returned as well! To board, you must have a valid park hopper ticket or Annual Pass. Cast Members will check your ticket before you can board. The Epcot monorail line is still unavailable at this time.

Guests can now visit all four parks in one day if they’d like. It all depends on park hours and capacity. If the park you are hoping to visit after your first park reaches its capacity limit, you won’t be able to enter. How will you know if a park reaches capacity? You can ask at the Guest Relations in the current park you are in, ask the Cast Members at the bus stops, or call the capacity hotline at (407) 560-5000.

Reminder: Guests park hopping to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will not be able to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Only guests with Disney Park Passes for Disney’s Hollywood Studios (i.e. their first park of the day) will be able to try for a boarding group at 7:00 AM and the newly modified 1:00 PM release time.

Are you excited that park hopping has returned to Disney World?
