Darth Maul to Return in Multiple Disney+ Star Wars Shows, Including ‘Solo‘ Spin-Off Series. Star Wars fans have plenty to look forward to, but it seems there will be even more content to enjoy! Rumors have been swirling for nearly a year when it was believed Darth Maul may be making an appearance in The Mandalorian Season 2, though we know that never came to fruition, the interest in Maul’s return has reportedly led to the development of a ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story‘ spin-off series.

Though Lucasfilm and Disney+ have yet to confirm the plot of the upcoming Lando Star Wars limited-series, it seems this is the series that will act as a spin-off to the 2018 movie. Given the premise of the series, Darth Maul will play an integral part of the series, along with Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra as they lead the Crimson Dawn. The Lando series will star both Billy Dee Williams and Donald Glover in the role of Lando Calrissian in their respective timelines. It is currently unknown if Ray Park will reprise his role as Darth Maul.

Reportedly, Maul will make appearances throughout several Star Wars series on Disney+. Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to confirm this news, but the official word on future Star Wars projects is expected to be announced in the near future.
