Covid-19 cases are declining in Florida leading to the mayor’s decision. Orange County is reporting a 3.51% positivity rate for 17 days in a row now. The CDC currently lists the county as having a substantial transmission rate but that could be downgraded to moderate if the rates continue to go down.
We aren’t sure what this might mean for Orange County theme parks. Certain mask mandates could be altered but as of now, no changes have been made at Walt Disney World.
Mayor Demings did state that the executive order could be reinstated if cases begin to rise again.
