Polynesian Resort Monorail Station

Construction is progressing fast on Disney’s Polynesian Resort Monorail Station. Last month we gave you a small update about the delay in opening the Monorail Station at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. When the resort reopened, the station was supposed to be finished. Then we heard the bussing was about to be suspended going to Epcot in mid-august. It is now the end of August, a month and some days after the resort opened, and we have no new updates from Disney about a timeline.

The refurbishment continues at one of Disney World’s monorail resorts! Disney’s Polynesian Resort is undergoing a massive change and the construction is showing quite a difference already. The resort has new roof crossbeams above the Great Ceremonial House. Guests can even see that the Polynesian Resort Monorail Station is coming along nicely as part of the ongoing construction work.

Due to refurbishment work at the Great Ceremonial House, monorail service to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is temporarily suspended.

The Epcot Monorail and the Express Monorail originate at the TTC and offer express round-trip service to Epcot and Magic Kingdom park.
