Construction continues on the Inside and Outside of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. With Disney World’s 50th Anniversary coming up fast, Disney announced some major refurbishments for the Contemporary. We reported on the rooms being refurbished to a new Incredibles Theme. Along with The Wave is going away to be replaced by Steakhouse 71. Apparently, there is also construction in the back stairways, the front lobby, and almost every other square inch of the resort.
Keep in mind, Disney announced most of these refurbishments and renovations are due to be done by October 1st.

The Front Desk is now located on the second floor according to signage placed around the front doors. You can see the “green screen of distractions” is all over.
