star-wars-rebels-kanan-dies-spoiler

Several animated characters featured in Star Wars: Rebels have made it into the live-action scene in The Mandalorian, but does this mean more Rebels is on the way? The animated series left a lot of questions that Star Wars fans want answers to, like “Where is Ezra?” “How did Moff Gideon get The Darksaber from Bo-Katan?” and so much more. There is a good chance we will get to see more characters from the Rebels stories in the various live-action series coming to Disney+, but there is always hope that the animated series will get its own chance to share the spotlight! (I smell a Mandalore series or film in the works, just saying)

Reportedly, Disney didn’t like the idea of a humorous animated series by the Robot Chicken creators being the first introduction to the Star Wars Universe for a new and younger generation of fans, so the series has been shelved for nearly a decade. Rumor has it the series may get a second chance on Disney+, but no official announcement has been made by Lucasfilm at this time regarding the fate of Detours.
