Looking for some classy Christmas cheer? How about in the form of boating decorations? Then look no further than the splendorous yuletide atmosphere of Disney’s Yacht Club! Their holiday decor is a yearly treat for resort hoppers hoping to see some of Disney’s best non-park decorations. Out of the way of the bigger crowds at the Grand Floridian or the Wilderness Lodge, the Yacht Club should not be overlooked.
Festive garlands are strung up all around the lobby trimmed with beautiful marine blue ornaments and bows. Also visible are nautical baubles such as miniature wooden boats. A fitting trim for the resort, of course!
The lobby’s main attraction is, however, the Christmas tree. Bedecked with lights and model yachts and boats, it is in perfect sync with the rest of the resort. It is impressive that Disney’s Yacht Club has managed to stay on theme in all of its Christmas decorations. And not only does everything fit the ambiance, but it is also elegant and feels classic without being stuffy. Guests of all ages will be able to appreciate the details of their efforts.
While the Christmas village and trains we usually love to see are not on display this year, we certainly enjoy the beautiful display at the resort. Check some of our other articles to see what else is currently at Walt Disney World resorts during the holiday season:
