The best places to cool down when things get hot at Walt Disney World Resort are the Disney Water Parks. There’s no better way to enjoy the Florida sunshine than relaxing in an inner tube, floating down a lazy river, or splashing around with your family. Let’s check out some of the new offerings that you can spot next time you’re at Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.
New menu items available at Blizzard Beach include the Blizzard Burger. Topped with cheddar cheese, sweet and smoky “ham-jam” and served on a pretzel bun, this burger is sure to quench your hunger. There are also a few new healthy choices like the plant-based rice bowls, available with a variety of options. For dessert, try the chocolate-dipped key lime pie or a milkshake – choose from salted caramel, peppermint, chocolate or vanilla!
Typhoon Lagoon also has some new offerings, like the “guacamole flight” that comes in vegetable, pineapple bacon, and shrimp varieties. I’m excited to try the jerk chicken rice bowl. There’s also a plant-based bratwurst sandwich on the menu. Wash it all down with a Blue Typhoon Colada or a “Tropical Storm”.
As we reported earlier, guests visiting this spring will be able to purchase the “Splash Pack” at both parks. The Splash Pack Bundle will include an entree, beverage with a collectible refillable mug, dessert, and a souvenir towel (choose from Lilo & Stitch, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, or Mickey Mouse). The price of the Slash Pack Bundle is currently $44 per person and are available a Singapore Sal’s at Typhoon Lagoon or the Beach Haus at Blizzard Beach from now until May 4th.
