Pumpkin Cannoli

”Leave the gun, take the cannoli.” In a world of desserts like cupcakes and ice cream, cannoli can’t be forgotten. It is an icon and a staple of Italian culture. It combines the crunchy texture of fried pastry dough with the creamy texture of a soft filling. Cannoli offer a perfect balance and can be a great vehicle for a wide variety of flavors.

Buon Appetito! Pumpkin Cannoli Appear in Disney Springs

Case in point, Vivoli il Gelato in Disney Springs just released the perfect cannoli for fall: Pumpkin Cannoli. Starting off with a choice between a regular shell and a chocolate-dipped one, your server will fill it to the brim with a pumpkin sweet cream and then coat the end with chocolate chips.

This is a treat for pumpkin lovers! The sweet cream filling had a strong similarity to a pumpkin pie filling after it’s been mixed with whipped cream. Unlike other pumpkin desserts that can be overly sweet and cinnamon-laden, this cannoli allows pumpkin to be the star. Guests who want to try the best fall desserts in Walt Disney World may want to add this one to their list. The added bonus with ordering it is that it’s a little more exciting than another pumpkin cupcake, am I right?

One cannoli costs $6.50 at Vivoli il Gelato and is big enough to share with a friend if you’re just looking to top off after dinner. But holy cannoli, you may as well buy a whole bunch. They’re really good.
