Just in time for the holidays, your shopping options have grown. Bonjour Village Gift Shop in the Magic Kingdom has recently reopened, packed full of Disney Christmas gifts and merchandise. Time to stock up!
The little shop is nestled in New Fantasyland, next door to Gaston’s Tavern. It has remained shuttered since Coronavirus closures last March. Typically they carry Beauty-and-the-Beast-themed items, but thanks to the timing of their reopening, they are also currently carrying holiday items. Shelves are lined with bubble wands, Christmas mugs, blankets, and baseball caps. Plexiglass has been installed at the counters and arrows direct guests where to enter and exit the shop. The store looks a bit different from the last time it was open. The classic tapestry of Belle and Beast in the ballroom is still on the wall though!
Fittingly, New Fantasyland opened for the first time 8 years ago, almost to the day! That area is the newest addition in the Magic Kingdom, having officially opened on December 6th, 2012. Other Beauty and the Beast attractions that were unveiled at the same time and in proximity to the gift shop are Gaston’s Tavern, Be Our Guest Restaurant, and Enchanted Tales with Belle. Ariel-themed attractions are also located in New Fantasyland, many of which are already reopened. The notable closures are Enchanted Tales with Belle and Ariel’s Grotto, due to health precautions.
Be sure to stop by Bonjour Village Gift Shop on your next visit to the Magic Kingdom! You may find something you can’t live without. And don’t forget to head next door for one of Gaston’s famous cinnamon rolls!
