Boat Launch At Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Hotels Closing Temporarily

Beginning May 16th, the boat launch at Walt Disney’s Swan and Dolphin hotels will be closed temporarily for refurbishment. It is scheduled to reopen on May 25th. Disney’s Friendship Boat service provides guests complimentary water transportation between the Swan and Dolphin hotels, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Boardwalk and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club resorts. During the closure, guests can still use Disney’s complimentary bus service for transportation to these different locations, as well as the other theme parks.

Water transportation to Hollywood Studios will also be affected before and after the boat launch closure. May 7th until May 15th and from May 26th until approximately June 21st, the boat transportation service will only run to and from Epcot, Disney’s Boardwalk and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club. Bus transportation will still be available for guests heading to Hollywood Studios where Toy Story Land is scheduled to open on June 30th.
