Bill Murray to have a bigger role in Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania
Bill Murray is set to join the cast of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. However, a recent promotional ad indicates that his MCU role is bigger than initially expected.
In a theater standee that’s been making the rounds on social media this weekend, Murray’s name is prominently displayed along those of Rudd, Lilly, Majors, Kathryn Newton, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Michael Douglas.
Bill Murray’s name in this primary billing is a strong indication that he’ll have substantial screentime in Quantumania, following fans originally speculating that Murray’s role would be limited to a cameo.
Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne, along with Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, explore the Quantum Realm, where they interact with strange creatures and embark on an adventure that goes beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Director Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.
