Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Interactive Queue Elements turned back on. One of the best things about going to any Disney Park, and what sets them apart, is for the Rides. Furthermore, the queues are well done and will help pass the time. If you have never taken the time to explore your surroundings while sitting in a queue at Disney World you may be missing out on some fun quirky things. Next time you are stuck in line at 7DMT, find 6 more people and all spin the barrels. If all 7 are done perfectly a brand new scene will appear.
A fun way to pass the time, on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, is to enjoy the ride queue interactive elements. They have been working again since they are a high-touch mechanism, they were not working for the past year. On one such interactive element, which you can see in the video below, spin the wheel and a window opens up and you can see the proverbial Canary in a Coal Mine, along with sounds and a burst of air. Another one is a wind-up old miners dynamite plunger. If you didn’t read the instructions earlier in the queue you may have missed how it works. Sometimes ya gotta pay attention to the small things.

Race through a haunted gold mine aboard a speeding train on this thrilling coaster-style ride.
Legend has it that soon after gold was first discovered here in the 1850s, eerie things began to happen. Trains would take off and race through tunnels—by themselves.
After you arrive at the legendary Big Thunder Mining Company, descend into an abandoned mine shaft and board your train. As you enter the cursed cavern, the engine speeds up along the rickety track. Dodge exploding dynamite and falling boulders as you swoop around turns, drop into canyons, and dart through the mysterious ghost town of Tumbleweed.
