Available now through November 28th, this dessert is a beautifully-presented pumpkin-flavored mousse, set atop a sable cookie. The texture is reminiscent of a no-bake cheesecake, while the flavor is distinctly like a pumpkin pie. It’s not an overly-spicy dessert but relies more on the actual flavor of pumpkin. The cookie underneath is soft and acts as a crust for the little pumpkin on top.
Just looking at this masterpiece could make a guest think twice about eating it. It’s beautifully shaped and colored, even sparkling a little bit in the light. The stem and leaf are made of chocolate, adding an extra bit of flavor and crunch. The dessert is worth digging into though, so patrons should just snap a photo for Instagram before indulging in this equally pretty and tasty treat.
The Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse costs $5.99 before tax and can be found in the Riviera Resort’s Le Petit Café. While there, pumpkin-favoring guests may also want to sample the Pumpkin Glacé, a blended coffee drink. Other coffee drinks are well worth the trip too, and travelers will not be sorry to visit this venue at any time of year.
