Bette Midler Says She “Can’t Wait to Fly Again!” in ‘Hocus Pocus 2‘. It’s no secret that the Sanderson Sisters, Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker, are on board for the Hocus Pocus sequel currently in development for Disney+, pending an invitation from the House of Mouse. Yet, the entertainment conglomerate has yet to announce any casting choices for the new film. We DO know that Hocus Pocus 2 will premiere exclusively on Disney+ and that fans are very excited!

Midler recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight about her upcoming roles and the potential of her joining the cast of Hocus Pocus 2. Etonline shared, “Though the studio has yet to officially confirm the trio’s involvement in the follow-up, Midler not only says she’s “absolutely” up to reprise her role as Winifred Sanderson, but teases: “I can’t wait to fly!” Which sounds an awful lot like she’s in for Hocus Pocus 2. “Oh, yeah,” she told ET’s Nischelle Turner. “We’re just talking logistics.””

Bette Midler has also recruited her  Hocus Pocus co-stars Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker to co-host her annual ‘Hulaween’ Gala to benefit the New York Restoration Project.

Entertainment Weekly shared, “Bette Midler will kick off her annual Hulaween fundraising gala by conjuring up a magical reunion with her Hocus Pocus costars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the actress’ yearly costume gala — held to benefit the New York Restoration Project — will take place virtually this year, with Midler, Parker, and Najimy set to join forces throughout the evening in tribute to the 1993 cult classic film about a witchy, sisterly trio who return from the dead to terrorize a New England town.”
