AT-AT Spraying Water

AT-AT spraying water once again in Hollywood Studios. We were sad to write yesterday about the closure of a family-loved experience that was closed permanently, but now we have a water element back after many years because it was turned off for the other experience. Let me explain…

Jedi Training: Trials of the Jedi have been closed permanently. In our article, we mentioned the removal of all signage by Star Tours, and also, the removal of any mention of the experience from the Walt Disney World website. But wait, there is more! Because it has been closed it means that the AT-AT Walker is now spraying water again!

The At-AT walker first started with the water effect back in 1989 and lasted until 2007. While the Jedi experience was being refurbished back in 2015 it made its return for a few weeks. So go see this while you can!

There are a few effects. The first is when the AT-AT starts doing the shooting sound and the front gunners start moving, water spits out as the Camel does over in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. Furthermore, there are a few other water sprays that happen, one from the upper portion of the leg in the front, and the other from the undercarriage.
