We recently had the opportunity to eat at Maria & Enzo’s located in Disney Springs. Maria & Enzo’s offers Italian food based on Sicilian cuisine, so you know you’ll be in for some good food! We love this restaurant and we were excited to return to see some of the new nightly entertainment.
Once inside, you are met with a beautiful art deco travel theme. It’s so stunning inside that it made us feel like we were really having a nice night out. I love all the little nods to the various travel locations throughout the restaurant. Located on the ceiling is a big globe and surrounding it are various places one may want to travel too. Of course, what is a restaurant is we don’t discuss the food! Maria & Enzo’s has a fabulous selection of both hearty pasta dishes as well as lighter fare.
We went with two pasta dishes for dinner, the first being the Potato Gnocchi and the second being the Chicken Sausage Ragù. Both dishes came out at exactly the same time which we highly appreciated. Our meals were so good and cooked perfectly. The pasta was tender and the sauces flavorful. I would highly recommend either of these dishes when you go.
What sets apart Maria & Enzo’s from the other options at Disney Springs are the nightly entertainment offerings. We were so impressed by the violinist! I think we heard just about every Disney classic song as well as many others. Also equally fascinating was the balloon maker on stilts. We really loved watching both of these entertainers interact with all guests both young and old. It really turned our dinner into an experience rather than just another meal out.
Since we enjoyed our pasta so much, we KNEW dessert had to be just as good! Thankfully and not unexpectedly, we were not wrong.
The dessert in the cup is the Affogato Del Vesuvio while the one on the plate is the Enzo’s Torta. Both were so good and the perfect way to end our meal. We also giggled a little bit at the option to have dessert in a glass. Overall we loved our experience at Maria & Enzo’s. If you are coming to Disney World or even if you are local it’s worth checking out!
