The jury found fault on both sides but ultimately fell in favor of Johnny Depp’s case awarding him $15 Million in damages, with Heard earning $2 Million in damages. Judge Azcarate later lowered the awarded amount to $10.35 Million for Depp due to a Virginia state law that caps punitive damages at $350,000.

The appeal will not be resolved in the immediate future, and it will likely be a year or longer before we see any major updates regarding the status of the appeal if it is not immediately denied.
