Stunning Aerial Video Shows Universal’s Epic Universe Lit Up at Night
We’re just over two months away from the grand opening of Epic Universe, and thanks to X user @bioreconstruct, we now have a breathtaking nighttime aerial view of Universal Orlando’s highly anticipated fourth theme park. The video showcases Epic Universe illuminated after dark, giving fans a first look at how its dazzling lighting transforms the park into a spectacle of color, mystery, and adventure.

At the heart of it all is Celestial Park, the cosmic hub of Epic Universe. The video captures the Chronos Tower glowing in the night, its towering presence setting the stage for the park’s futuristic, dreamlike atmosphere. Lights along the entrance plaza dance and shimmer, extending back to the Helios Grand Hotel, further reinforcing the celestial theme that makes this land a true showstopper.

Each land’s unique lighting enhances its immersive storytelling. Super Nintendo World looks like it was lifted straight from a Mario Bros. game, with vibrant neon colors bringing the Mushroom Kingdom to life. Meanwhile, Dark Universe exudes an eerie, foreboding presence—the entrance portal glows ominously in front of flickering torches that line the shadowy streets of Darkmoor Village, where Universal’s classic monsters lurk in the darkness. The video also teases a brief but magical look at Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, where the streets of 1920s Paris sparkle under the moonlight before the camera pulls back to reveal the entire park’s impressive scale.
With Epic Universe set to open its gates May 22, excitement is reaching new heights. Team Member previews are already underway, and while Annual Passholder previews are expected to happen before the official opening, Universal has yet to make an announcement.
