See the construction as it continues throughout EPCOT thanks to Bioreconstruct on Twitter we have an aerial look at the construction in Epcot’s Innoventions West! Back late last year, demolition and construction work started in EPCOT, preparing the park for its biggest expansion in history!

Throughout the months, thanks to Bioreconstruct we have seen the new reimagined EPCOT begin to emerge. Last month we saw construction work on Innoventions East- again thanks to Bioreconstruct, check out the progress here! Back in December, there were some demolition and construction works being completed to Innoventions West, see here and below.

“A new viewpoint of Spaceship Earth is coming with the demolition of Innoventions West. Arrows where the sphere can be seen already, including through windows still up at the former Art of Disney shop.” (pictured above – @bioreconstruct)- back in December 2020.

Today, however, there are new aerial photos of the construction in Epcot’s Innoventions West, check out the progress below!

As you can see from the aerial image of the construction at Epcot’s Innoventions West you can see the status of the demolition, particularly when you see how far they have come since December 2020 (previous images above). By comparing the two images you can see the majority of the roof has been demolished as well as the walls. In comparison, Innoventions East has a new roof and the temporary gift shop shown in this article.

Here you can see an up close photo of the demolition and the removal of the walls and roof. As well as a side view of the demolition in the image following the thread from Bioreconstruct’s Twitter account. Likewise, you can see the entrance to Spaceship Earth from the images.

This image shows the scale of the demolition and the magnitude of this project! We are so excited for this massive project to be completed and see the new EPCOT Future World in all it’s glory!
