Can you believe it’s already August? Even with all this heat Disney hasn’t slowed down on its Hollywood Studios expansion. Let’s take a look at the latest aerial photography from @bioreconstruct and see what progress has been made on Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

In the foreground is Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In the back you can see the red Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster in Toy Story Land.

This ride is informally known as the “Battle Escape” attraction. Disney has said “visitors will find themselves in the middle of a tense battle between stormtroopers and Resistance fighters.”

This is the Millennium Falcon attraction, which will feature a ride where guests can pilot the famed Corellian YT-1300 light freighter.

Earlier this week the final piece of track was installed on Slinky Dog Dash, the family coaster that will debut as one of the land’s two new attractions when Toy Story Land opens in summer 2018

The entrance to the new land will be between the former Captain Jack Sparrow show and Toy Story Mania.

We can only assume that at least a quick service dining location is coming to Toy Story Land but it’s still unknown if Pizza Planet will be returning.

What do you think? I know I’m counting down the days until I can see these lands completed!
