Changes are coming to the ABC Commissary at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. One of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat in the park is getting a bit of a makeover, as well as some new menu additions.
ABC Commissary is known for its delicious quick-service lunch and dinner offerings. One of the stars of the menu is the Vegan Burger, a mouthwatering plant-based burger topped with a vegan mayonnaise-ketchup blend, spicy Sriracha mustard, and griddled balsamic glazed onions and bell peppers. For the meat-eaters, one of my favorites has always been the BBQ Rib Platter with tender dry-rubbed slow-smoked pork ribs tossed in a sweet BBQ sauce served with coleslaw, pickles, and steak fries.
Or try the Shrimp Teriyaki Bowl dinner entrée with stir-fried shrimp, Napa cabbage, snap peas, red peppers, carrots, onions, edamame, shiitake mushrooms, and broccoli tossed in a house-made teriyaki sauce and served over brown rice. The newest addition to the menu, coming later this summer is a savory new Pot Roast served over mashed potatoes and root vegetables with beef gravy and onion straws. Yum!
In addition to the exciting cuisine, the Commissary will be transforming a bit in the next few months. As we previously reported, the addition of self-serve beverages stations paired with some new Art-Deco inspired elements will help breathe new life into a place that hasn’t see some upgrades in a while.
Also, starting June 2nd, ABC Commissary will be offering reservations for dinner. Starting at 4 pm daily, guests can reserve a time to enjoy dinner “fast-casual” style. Similarly to breakfast and lunch operations at Be Our Guest, you arrive at your designated time and order at the counter, then take a pager to wherever you’d like to sit. When you’re order is ready, a Cast Members will bring your dinner right to your table. This system will ensure guaranteed seating for those with a reservation.
Reservations are open as of today, for dinners starting June 2nd. You can make reservations the Walt Disney World website, the My Disney Experience app, or by calling the Disney Dining line.
