Disneyland Named Official Helmet Sponsor for Anaheim Ducks 2026–2027 Season

The bond between Southern California’s favorite hockey team and the happiest place on Earth just got even stronger! The Anaheim Ducks have officially announced an expanded partnership with Disneyland Resort, naming the resort as the team’s official helmet sponsor starting with the 2026–2027 NHL season.

The sponsorship was revealed in a video across the team’s official channels, showing off the team’s red-orange helmets featuring the iconic “Disneyland Resort” logo printed in clean white along the sides. Fans can expect to see the new look debut during the 2026 Rookie Faceoff tournament before rolling out across all regular-season home and away games, Stanley Cup Playoff matches, and team practices.

This news marks another exciting chapter in the shared history between Disney and the Ducks. The Walt Disney Company originally founded the team in 1993 as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, drawing inspiration from the hit 1992 film The Mighty Ducks.

While Disney sold the franchise to Henry and Susan Samueli in 2005—leading to the team’s rebranding as the Anaheim Ducks—the connection to Disney never truly disappeared. In 2024, the team even brought back its beloved Donald Duck-inspired original crest as its primary logo.

Disneyland Resort has remained a key sponsor of the team for nearly a decade, hosting fan-favorite events like Anaheim Ducks Day annually at Disney California Adventure Park.

In addition to the helmet decals, the expanded multi-year agreement will bring even more Disney magic to Ducks games. Fans can look forward to enhanced Disneyland Resort presence throughout the Honda Center, including:

  • In-arena signage and digital displays
  • Exclusive social media content collaborations
  • In-game broadcast elements throughout the season

Disneyland Resort President Jill Estorino shared her excitement for the expanded relationship:

“The Anaheim Ducks are more than a hometown team, they are woven into the fabric of our community. We’re honored to continue our partnership with an organization that shares our commitment to bringing people together for unforgettable experiences.”
