Disney Expands Airport Luggage Transfer Service to Caribbean Beach Resort

Disney is making travel day a little easier for even more Walt Disney World guests. Beginning August 18, Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer service has expanded to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, marking the first Moderate Resort to be added to the program.

The service allows eligible guests to transfer their luggage between their Disney Resort hotel and Orlando International Airport without having to handle the bags themselves along the way. The program is currently available for guests flying with American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, or United Airlines.

Disney first began testing the service at Disney’s Pop Century Resort with Southwest Airlines before gradually expanding it to additional airlines and every Walt Disney World Value Resort. The participating resorts now include Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, All-Star Music Resort, All-Star Sports Resort, Art of Animation Resort, Pop Century Resort, and Caribbean Beach Resort.

The service is provided by BagCheck and is designed to take a little of the baggage, quite literally, out of arrival and departure days. Adding Caribbean Beach Resort is a notable next step for the program, particularly since it is the first resort outside Disney’s Value category to offer the service. No additional Moderate or Deluxe Resort locations have been announced yet.
