First Fall Decorations Arrive at Magic Kingdom Ahead of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Spooky season is officially getting underway at Walt Disney World! With the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of 2026 taking place this Friday, August 7, crews have installed the very first autumn decorations inside Magic Kingdom.

Following the arrival of party promotional signage at the Transportation and Ticket Center and park entrance last week, overnight crews began dressing up the front of the park with classic fall touches.

Autumn Bunting and Carved Pumpkins Arrive on Main Street

Guests entering Magic Kingdom are now greeted by bright autumnal orange, yellow, and red bunting hanging across the upper balcony of the Main Street Train Station. Additional bunting will continue to pop up down Main Street, U.S.A., in the coming days as the transformation expands toward Cinderella Castle.

On the park side of the train station, the iconic carved jack-o’-lanterns above the archway tunnels have returned. The pumpkins spell out the classic Disney farewell, “See ya real soon!” flanked by Mickey-shaped pumpkin icons on either side.
