Land Clearing Underway Near The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom
A small patch of greenery near The Crystal Palace has disappeared behind construction walls, leaving Magic Kingdom guests wondering what Disney may be cooking up next.

Rolling planters and temporary walls now surround an area beside the restaurant that was previously filled with shrubs. Crews have cleared a noticeable strip of plants just beyond the barriers, near the edge of the sidewalk and the bridge leading toward Adventureland. The work is not currently affecting nearby walkways or access to The Crystal Palace.

The cleared land slopes toward the lagoon, and Disney has not announced what the project will become. One possibility is that the area could be paved to provide additional space for guests waiting to check in for their dining reservations. The walkway outside the popular Winnie the Pooh character restaurant can become crowded during busy meal periods, especially when families gather near the entrance.
