Disney Imagination Campus and The Muppets Bring Imagination Day Back in 2027

Teachers, cue the music and light the lights because Disney Imagination Campus is bringing Imagination Day back in 2027, and The Muppets are joining the lesson plan. The free virtual professional development event will take place Wednesday, July 28, 2027, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.

Kermit the Frog shared the news alongside Ashley Eckstein, celebrating educators and the important role they play in helping students chase their dreams. Kermit noted that teachers helped encourage one young frog to follow his own dreams, proving that a little classroom inspiration can go a very long way.

Imagination Day is designed primarily for K-12 teachers, but coaches, professors, administrators, and other group leaders are also welcome to participate. The online event will feature sessions led by Disney experts and special guests, with ideas educators can use to encourage creativity and imagination in the classroom.

Participants will receive confirmation of attendance that may be submitted toward professional development requirements through their own organizations. Registration is now available, with more information about the 2027 agenda expected to be released closer to the event.
