Celebrate the Fourth of July at Universal Orlando with Fireworks, Characters, DJs, and More
Universal Orlando Resort is turning up the red, white, and blue this Independence Day with festive entertainment, patriotic performers, fireworks, and special celebrations across the resort. Whether you’re visiting Universal Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, CityWalk, or staying at one of the resort hotels, there will be plenty of ways to celebrate America’s birthday on July 4.

At Universal Epic Universe, festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. in Celestial Park with patriotic stilt walkers, a live DJ, and special entertainment at the Hemisphere Stage. The celebration culminates with a special Fourth of July fireworks display over the Cosmos Fountain at 9:00 p.m., followed by the park’s nightly fountain show at 10:00 p.m.
Universal Studios Florida joins the celebration starting at 5:15 p.m. with live entertainment at the Music Plaza Stage, including a DJ, patriotic performers, and character meet and greets throughout the evening. Guests can also catch the Universal Mega Movie Parade at 6:00 p.m. before enjoying CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular at 9:00 p.m. The night wraps up with a special pyrotechnic finale over the lagoon at 10:00 p.m.
The celebration extends beyond the parks as Universal CityWalk comes alive with patriotic stilt walkers, live entertainment, and music throughout the evening. The American Sirens take the stage beginning at 5:00 p.m., followed by a live DJ at 8:00 p.m. Universal Orlando Resort hotels are also getting into the holiday spirit with themed food and beverage offerings, poolside activities, family movies, and a rooftop Fourth of July gathering at Bar 17 Bistro atop Universal Aventura Hotel.

Admission to the in-park festivities is included with regular park admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Epic Universe. Florida residents looking to celebrate over the holiday weekend can also take advantage of Universal Orlando’s limited-time “Buy a Day, Get a 2nd Day Free” ticket offer, which includes two days of admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure for the price of a one-day ticket.
