Men in Black: Alien Attack Reopens at Universal Orlando With Fresh Effects and Upgrades
One of Universal Studios Florida’s most beloved attractions is back in action. Men in Black: Alien Attack has officially reopened following a two-week refurbishment, and while the ride’s story remains the same, guests will notice several welcome enhancements throughout the experience.

The attraction was closed from June 1 through June 16 for scheduled maintenance. Since reopening, guests have reported improved audio throughout the attraction, including updated sound effects that make the chaotic battle against invading aliens feel even more immersive.

Several visual enhancements have also been added. The opening scene now features refreshed fog effects, helping set the mood as recruits begin their mission. Universal has also installed a handful of new alien figures, updated many of the interactive targets, and completed paint touch-ups throughout the attraction to give the nearly 25-year-old ride a fresh look.

While these aren’t headline-grabbing changes or a major reimagining, they are exactly the kind of maintenance fans love to see on a classic attraction. Men in Black: Alien Attack remains one of Universal Orlando’s best interactive rides, and these upgrades help ensure it continues entertaining new generations of recruits for years to come.
