Disney World Introduces Complimentary In-Room Enhancements for Families

Walt Disney World has updated its complimentary guest offerings to include new, kid-friendly room enhancements for families traveling with young children. As part of these updates, traditional metal toddler bedrails are being retired and replaced with new, cushioned bed bumpers designed to provide a softer, more seamless barrier under the fitted sheets for active sleepers.

Families staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can now take advantage of new kid-friendly room enhancements designed to keep little ones safe and snug. Guests can request soft bed bumpers that fit seamlessly onto the mattress, helping to prevent young children from accidentally rolling out of bed during the night.

Unlike the older, removable metal bedrails previously offered by Disney, these new bumpers slide directly underneath the fitted sheet. This design creates a secure, padded barrier along the edge of the mattress that keeps active sleepers safe without the bulk of traditional rails, as seen in the photo above.

These updated items are part of Disney’s ongoing commitment to improving the complimentary amenities available to guests traveling with infants and toddlers. By modernizing these everyday essentials, Disney continues to make traveling with young families a smoother, more stress-free experience.

These kid-friendly essentials can be requested completely free of charge. Families can secure them either before arrival by adding them to their reservation or by contacting the hotel front desk at any point during their stay.
