The newest aerial overview provides one of the clearest looks yet at the developing station for Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift. The massive steel-framed structure is now covered with extensive roof framework while sections of bright blue coaster track curve directly into and through the building.

From above, the attraction is beginning to look less like a pile of steel and more like an actual high-speed coaster experience roaring to life backstage at Universal Studios Florida. Cranes tower over the site while construction crews continue assembling support beams, track sections, and infrastructure throughout the rapidly evolving project footprint.

Several additional aerial photos focus on construction happening adjacent to the station area, including a large elevated concrete platform that bioreconstruct identifies as the future switch track location.

The concrete platform sits beside major sections of coaster track and appears designed to handle operational switching elements that will move coaster trains between the main attraction and backstage maintenance areas. Excavation work, reinforced foundations, trenches, and utility installation continue surrounding the structure as crews build out the attraction’s operational systems.

The final aerial images also reveal continued progress on both the station and maintenance building for the coaster. Additional steel framing, roofing components, and coaster track now stretch around the backstage complex behind the park’s New York area.

Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift is expected to feature rotating ride vehicles that simulate drifting cars inspired by the Fast & Furious franchise, creating a high-speed coaster experience unlike anything currently operating at Universal Orlando Resort. While the cars will be the same as the coaster in Hollywood, the track layout is different giving riders on both coasts a different experience.

With track rapidly expanding, the station structure rising higher, and major operational infrastructure now visible from the air, Hollywood Drift is officially putting the pedal to the metal. 🏎️💨
