Anaheim Debuts “Bananaheim” Celebration for the Savannah Bananas

The Bananaheim Challenge has officially arrived as Visit Anaheim invites fans to join a citywide scavenger hunt to celebrate the return of the Savannah Bananas. The world-famous “Banana Ball” phenomenon is heading back to Angel Stadium for a highly anticipated two-night stop on March 27–28, and the city’s official destination marketing organization is turning the entire area into a playground for fans to join the fun before the first pitch.

Running from March 26–29, the Bananaheim Challenge is a free interactive experience designed for locals and visitors to explore the area while celebrating the Savannah Bananas’ return to Orange County. Participants can sign up at visitanaheim.org/bananas to kick off an adventure across 22 participating businesses throughout Anaheim and Garden Grove.

Joining the fun is simple: once registered online, fans just need to visit the designated locations and look for the official “Bananaheim Challenge” floor decals or posters. By scanning the QR code at each stop, players check in and rack up points toward various rewards.

Prizes up for grabs include stickers, Savannah Bananas merchandise, and gift cards to local favorites. Plus, the first fan to complete the entire challenge will walk away with the ultimate “Bananaheim” grand prize, featuring Disneyland Resort tickets, local gift cards, and exclusive Bananas gear.
