Disney Breaks Guinness World Record with Massive Home Alone House

Disney+ and Hulu have officially cooked up a spot in the history books. The streaming giants have been crowned the new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title holders for the world’s largest gingerbread house.

An official judge from Guinness World Records was on-site to verify the achievement, confirming that the structure reached a staggering 44,838 cubic feet, easily clinching the new world record.

A Masterpiece in Eight Days

The colossal creation was designed as a high-fidelity recreation of the iconic McCallister family home from the holiday classic Home Alone. Despite its massive scale, the structure was assembled in just eight days. The final build stands as a holiday behemoth:

• Length: 34 feet
• Width: 58 feet
• Height: Over 22 feet

To bring the suburban Chicago mansion to life, builders used 4,200 individual gingerbread brick tiles and nearly 1,800 roof tiles.

By the Numbers: A Recipe for Success

Building the world’s largest gingerbread house required a grocery list of epic proportions. The “ingredients” for this architectural marvel included:

• 7,350 pounds of all-purpose flour
• 6,600+ eggs
• 20 gallons of edible glue
• 10 pounds of fondant for the finishing touches
