Jungle Cruise Set to Return to Its Classic Format at Magic Kingdom in January 2026
It’s almost time to trade in holiday jokes for hippos once again! The Jingle Cruise at Magic Kingdom is currently making spirits bright, but fans of the classic Jungle Cruise won’t have to wait long for its grand return. Disney has announced that the standard, year-round version of the beloved Adventureland attraction will reopen on January 2, 2026.

The overlay, which transforms the attraction into the festive Jingle Cruise, will continue running through January 1, bringing its signature mix of corny jokes and holiday cheer to guests through the New Year. The seasonal version adds a merry twist to the classic journey, complete with holiday decorations, themed cargo, and a boatload of puns courtesy of the world-famous skippers.

The Jingle Cruise has become a fan-favorite holiday tradition since debuting in 2013, blending the wit of the classic attraction with a touch of yuletide mischief. Once it concludes for the season, the jungle will once again return to its usual (and only slightly less chaotic) state for 2026 adventures.
