Epcot’s Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Closing for Refurbishment in November to Convert to 2D Attraction

A significant change is coming to one of EPCOT’s newest attractions, as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is scheduled to close for a brief refurbishment next month to convert the ride experience from 3D to 2D.

The attraction will be closed to guests from November 10 through November 13, 2025.

According to the official Walt Disney World website, the update will allow the attraction to return with “enchanted digital visuals and clearer imagery projected in 2D.” This change eliminates the need for guests to wear 3D glasses during the ride.

In addition to the visual overhaul, the conversion to 2D is not the only enhancement planned. The website also states that fans of the attraction will spot “new props and lighting enhancements” added to both the queue and the ride itself over the next few months.
