A First Look at The Beak and Barrel Menu in Adventureland
Raise yer tankards, me hearties, because a brand-new pirate tavern is about to set sail at Magic Kingdom! The Beak and Barrel officially opens its doors in Adventureland on August 29, bringing swashbuckling style, spirited storytelling, and a treasure chest of food and drink to Walt Disney World.

A Taste of the Pirate’s Life
The Beak and Barrel promises to be more than just a tavern—it’s a hideaway steeped in tales of Captain Merry Goldwyn and her feathered first mate, Rummy the parrot. Guests can expect live storytelling, sea shanties, and interactive surprises while they feast on flavors inspired by the Caribbean and seafaring adventures.
The dinner menu is loaded with small plates perfect for sharing among your crew:
- Island Provisions – A spread of plantain chips, blue corn tortillas, and toasted flatbread paired with dips like mango chutney and zesty culantro cream ($16).
- Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes – Warm corn cakes stuffed with cheese, lime sour cream, chili peppers, and cotija, with the option of chipotle-braised chicken ($14) or roasted corn and poblano peppers ($12).
- Kraken’s Catch – A bold seafood option featuring octopus tentacles marinated in citrus with avocado, olives, peppers, and piquillo pepper-almond foam ($18).
Allergy-friendly versions of these dishes are also available, making it easier for every buccaneer to join the feast.

Seaworthy Sips and Spirited Treasures
No pirate tavern would be complete without a robust drinks menu, and The Beak and Barrel doesn’t disappoint. From adventurous non-alcoholic concoctions to rum-heavy grog, there’s a pour for every palate.
- Non-Alcoholic Highlights: The Cursed Treasure (coconut milk, cookie crumbs, vanilla foam, and edible pirate’s gold) and the whimsical Treasure Trove, complete with ube, lemon, coconut, and a cake plank.
- Signature Cocktails: Standouts include the Siren’s Whisper (a blue and peachy rum blend with cinnamon), the fiery Lit Fuse with mezcal and smoked chili bitters, and the Salty Seas mARRRgarita made with tequila, lime, and ube.
- Showstopper Drink: The Plunderer’s Punch, served in a souvenir pirate skull mug, combines Kraken Black Spiced Rum, blackberry, lime, and vanilla ($46).
- Other Options: Wine selections, specialty beers like Pirate’s Paradise Blonde Ale and Berried Treasure Sour, and reserve rums aged up to 25 years are also on deck.

Dining Details
The Beak and Barrel is a casual à la carte dining spot, with dinner pricing generally between $15–$34.99 per adult (souvenir cocktails and reserve spirits, of course, run higher). The tavern experience is limited to 45 minutes per party and takes place in a lively, dimly lit setting. Reservations are highly recommended due to expected high demand.
And here’s a spooky bonus: with its late August opening, The Beak and Barrel will be welcoming Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party guests throughout the season. That means pirates, ghosts, and ghouls alike will have the chance to feast and toast under the tavern’s lantern light before heading back into the Halloween frights.
Adventureland is about to get even more spirited, and we can’t wait to step inside this pirate’s hideaway when it opens on August 29.
