Disney Springs Expands Security Screenings to Include Bus Arrivals

If you’re heading to Disney Springs anytime soon, you’ll want to keep this in mind: security screenings have now been expanded to include guests arriving by bus. 🚌

In the past, guests who came to Disney Springs via bus transportation — typically from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel — bypassed security checkpoints altogether. That’s no longer the case. Now, no matter how you arrive at Disney Springs — by personal vehicle, ride share, boat, on foot, or by bus — you’ll pass through a security screening before enjoying all the shopping, dining, and entertainment Disney Springs has to offer.

This change brings bus riders in line with all other arrival methods, ensuring consistent security procedures across the property. Guests can expect metal detectors and bag checks at the new screening area, which is set up right at the bus arrival zone.

While the added step may add a couple of minutes to your arrival time, it’s all part of Disney’s continued commitment to safety and security. The good news? Once you’re cleared, you’re free to explore Disney Springs without additional checks as you move around the property.
