Maleficent & Syndrome Teased for Oogie Boogie Bash 2025

Disneyland Resort has officially kicked off its teases for Oogie Boogie Bash 2025, hinting that two new villains are set to join the frightful fun this year at Disney California Adventure.

According to a recent post on the official Disneyland Instagram account, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and Syndrome from The Incredibles are confirmed to make appearances at this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash. While Maleficent is a familiar face at the event, this marks Syndrome’s exciting debut at any Disney Park!

The teaser Reel for Oogie Boogie Bash opens with a hint of Maleficent, featuring a silhouetted tree enveloped in her signature green smoke. Following this, Syndrome’s appearance is teased in the subsequent clip, which prominently displays his iconic wrist attachment, known for controlling his Omnidroids from the original Incredibles film.

The caption for the reel reads:

“Where thorns creep in the shadows and heroes fade behind the darkness… Dare to guess which two villains are joining #OogieBoogieBash – A Disney Halloween Party?”

Oogie Boogie Bash is set to return to Disney California Adventure, transforming the park on select nights from August 17 through October 31, 2025. Tickets for this popular event are available for purchase now.
