“Freakier Friday” Stars Join Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Festivities
The cast of “Freakier Friday” made a special appearance at Disneyland Resort yesterday, to introduce a surprise performance by the film’s fictional band, Pink Slip, at the Tomorrowland Terrace in Disneyland Park. After rocking the stage, the cast, including Jamie Lee Curtis, capped off their visit with a magical photo op at Sleeping Beauty Castle alongside Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse—with Jamie Lee even sharing a special moment with Minnie!

The fictional band Pink Slip from the upcoming sequel, “Freakier Friday,” made a surprise appearance at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California today! Cast members from the film, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, and Chad Michael Murray, introduced the original band members—Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Danny Rubin, and Chris Carlberg—from the Tomorrowland Terrace Stage. Following the performance, the cast joined Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse for a special photo op at Sleeping Beauty Castle, celebrating the Disneyland Resort’s 70th Celebration.

Get ready to rock! The soundtrack for “Freakier Friday,” from Hollywood Records, drops on August 1. It features a brand-new recording of the iconic song “Take Me Away” by Pink Slip, along with exciting new original songs and an all-new score by composer Amie Doherty. And mark your calendars, because “Freakier Friday” hits theaters exclusively on August 8, 2025!

Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are back as Tess and Anna Coleman in “Freakier Friday,” picking up years after their original identity-swapping adventure. This time, Anna has a daughter and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As the two families navigate the ups and downs of blending, Tess and Anna discover that history might just repeat itself! Directed by Nisha Ganatra and based on Mary Rodgers’ book “Freaky Friday,” the film also stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, Vanessa Bayer, and Mark Harmon. It’s produced by Kristin Burr, p.g.a., Andrew Gunn, p.g.a., and Jamie Lee Curtis, with Nathan Kelly, Ann Marie Sanderlin, and Lindsay Lohan as executive producers.
