Disney World and Universal Orlando Now Under Tornado Warning

Residents of Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida are advised to be aware of active tornado warnings, which are in effect until at least 4 PM. Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando are both in the tornado warning areas.

Guests at Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort are strongly advised to remain indoors due to active tornado warnings in Orange and Osceola Counties. Please take immediate precautions to ensure your safety.

The tornado warning was initially set to expire at 3:30 PM but may be extended. It is crucial to stay informed about the latest weather updates and follow the guidance of local authorities.

Both Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida remain under a tornado watch, which was initially issued earlier today. This means that tornadoes are possible in the area.

Due to the impending Hurricane Milton, Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort theme parks have closed early and will remain closed through Thursday. Guests are currently staying at resort hotels, but Osceola County has issued a curfew.
